Nature Adventure School
A faith-based homeschool enrichment program focused on learning through curiosity, fun, adventure, life skills, and outdoor games.
We are a PEP Scholarship approved program. Choose your day: Tuesday - Friday every week!
Wildlife 30A taps into each child's innate curiosity to inspire learning and outdoor play that leads to lifelong wonder, value and connection to nature. Whether it’s nature study, team building through outdoor games, developing wilderness skills, learning to track native animals and identify edible plants, or sparking creativity through nature arts + craft projects, your child will have a fun day of learning and being present in their surroundings.
Our unique nature enrichment model utilizes natural discovery to increase your child’s physical skill, coordination, intuition, and knowledge that will build their confidence as stewards of people and this earth!
Nature Adventures
Grab your journal and customize your walking stick, we will be off for adventure in discovering our local dune lakes, habitats and ecology along 30A. We will take time to observe, consider, and discuss your findings as we learn more about our environment around us and learn to share our discoveries with others in our group.
Wilderness Skills
Whether it’s learning primitive fishing techniques, purifying water, building a campfire from scratch, learning to track native animals, or identify edible plants, each week will be a new opportunity to sharpen your skills and gain new insight about our local habitats.
Nature Arts + Crafts
Our beautiful state parks are the perfect landscape for nature-based art and craft projects inspired by each week’s adventure. Craft projects include discovering ‘earth paints’, making bird feeders out of pine cones, designing maps for hidden treasure, and making other theme-based discovery projects. Your child will be empowered to use their imagination to create from a multitude of fun art!
Outdoor Games
Let’s Go! As we continue to experience nature as our favorite playground, we will be getting outside to enjoy all that God has created for us as we engage in different games and team exercises in our local state parks. Whether it’s team building with Capture the Flag, playing sneak up Ninja games, engaging in customized adventure courses, and practicing skill building through fun relay races, we will be engaging our imaginations and our bodies as we enjoy the different outdoor games and adventures.
